Salman Khan, the macho man of bollywood with a chiseled physique who plays lead in Anil Sharma’s upcoming flick ‘Veer’ opposite Zarine Khan, does not wear miniskirts as did Brad Pitt in his Hollywood flick ‘Troy’.

Salman Khan, who enacts the character of a Pindari warrior in the upcoming period drama, was furious at the suggestion that his look had been copied from Brat Pitt’s look in ‘Troy’. In fact, Salman Khan went to the extent of saying that it was Brad Pitt who had copied his blonde hair from ‘Sooryavanshi’ (Sallu’s earlier flick made by Vijay Galani) and not vice versa.

The handsome hunk of bollywood was at pains to explain that his look in upcoming flick ‘Veer’ was original, like his script, and not copied from either Brad Pitt or Russel Crowe’s ‘Gladiator’. In fact, Salman Khan’s character is that of a bulky Pindari soldier wielding a sword on the back of horse. This soldier leads from the front and fights the mighty British Empire in year 1857, which was also the year of first war of Indian Independence in the annals of history.

In fact, Salman Khan has been very closely involved with every aspect of ‘Veer’. He has not only written the script of the film but also participated actively in every creative decision of the team of the film. It took almost twenty years for the macho Khan to complete the script of the film. His earlier script had been written for ‘Baaghi’, which was a huge success at the box office.

Presently, Salman Khan is fully immersed in the promotion of his film ‘Veer’ and does not want to leave any stone unturned. Sallubhai even donned the garb of a jockey on the day of Mumbai derby and competed with professional jockeys at Mahalakshmi racecourse. Strangely, Salman not only completed the race but also defeated trained jockeys on the occasion.

‘Veer’ is set in pre-independent India and Salman Khan has enacted breath- taking war sequences in the desert of Rajasthan. In these sequences thousands of horses and hundreds of camel and elephants took part. The film was shot even at Buckingham Palace, the residence of British Queen in London, to impart it a sense of reality. ‘Veer’ has Zarine Khan playing a Rajput princess, who falls for the bravery and charm of a Pindari warrior, Salman Khan. Zarine Khan is said to be the look alike of Sallubhai’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
