The American singer-songwriter will be belting out a number for Shah Rukh’s home production movie Ra.1, which stars Kareena as the female lead.

DNA got exclusive access to the backstage of the event held to welcome Akon.

There Shah Rukh introduced him to Kareena saying, “She comes from the oldest and most prestigious acting family in India.”

When asked what she loves about Akon, Kareena said, “I love his music. He delivered one hit after another and I am sure he will give us a great number to sing and dance on.

We just can’t wait for him to belt it out for us. I have been a big follower of Akon’s music for a long time and I love his songs, especially Beautiful.

Sources reveal that Salman now wants to re-shoot the entire song.A source from the set says, "Salman and Sonakshi have shot for the song.

It's a romantic number shot against a village backdrop. However, Salman wanted it to be a lavish love song with high production values."

Go Europe! Now Khan has asked for the same song to be shot at an outdoor location.

The controversial singer's arrival is being kept under wraps. He's expected to be whisked away from the airport straight for the recording.

Akon will be recording on March 9 and 10 before he quietly slips out of India. But hang on. He's expected to return to India in April for live concerts with Aadesh Shrivastav.

Confirming Akon's recording in Mumbai, Ra.1 director Anubhav Sinha says, "Akon will be here for the recording on the dates you've mentioned."

However, Anubhav very strongly contradicts conflicting reports in the press stating that Akon would also be acting in Ra.1. Says Anubhav, "Akon is only singing for our film.

The TVC has Salman cornering Prachi Desai, while she ignores him since she has to wash clothes. Then, Salman, in his typical style, tells her to wave goodbye to the old washing powder and say Hello to 'Active Wheel'. The ad has a romantic theme to it, almost like a Bollywood romantic song. What's more interesting and intriguing is the fact that Salman has also given voiceover for the ad. Salman and Prachi surely make a beautiful pair on screen.

The actor is immensely popular in Germany and thus, has been forwarded a request to learn the German language so that he can interact with his fans better. So, has the actor learnt the language?

Well, so to speak, he has learnt some words which make his fans literally swoon over him. The three words learnt by Shahrukh are ‘Ich Liebe Oish’, which literally translates into ‘I Love You All’.
