Friendship day is round the corner. Whole of the country is busy making preparations for the day and ironically, B-Town friendships are falling apart one by one at the same time. First it was the fight between old friends Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt at the latter’s wife Maanyata’s birthday bash. And now Shahrukh Khan has made a statement that might upset many of those people who have stood by him through thick and thin.
Recently, at the wrap up party of ‘Ra. One’ organised by Shahrukh at his house Mannat, the actor made an astounding statement that even the otherwise sensationalist media was found gasping. Shahrukh said that though friendship day is a beautiful occasion to celebrate genuine friendships, he has no friends left in Hindi film industry. However, sensing the reaction the statement generated, Shahrukh later issued a statement that he was ‘just kidding’. Really Shahrukh? We don’t think so..
The statement is quite surprising, especially coming from an actor who has benefitted immensely because of his longtime alliances in the industry. We wonder what people like Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra and Kajol will have to say on this.
