Salman Khan has got good friend Sajid, of the musical duo Sajid - Wajid (Partner), to act in his upcoming next Wanted: Dead or Alive. The duo are Salman's favorite and are scoring music for all his upcoming films.

"Sajid has been keen to act in a film since long. When Salman got wind of his desire he immediately spoke to the film's producer Boney Kapoor and its director Prabhu Deva," a source told Sawf News. "Both Kapoor and Deva readily agreed to give Sajid a role." Sajid , who had no idea about Salman's good natured machinations, was pleasantly surprised when he was offered the role.

"I was pleasantly surprised when I was offered this role by them." Sajid told us. "The actual shooting for my part hasn't begun yet. But I am looking forward to this experience." he adds. So does he plan to do ala Himesh Reshammiya and continue as an actor cum music director if he enjoys this experience?

"Well I am presently very happy with my musical profession and I am enjoying it very much. If I start acting too then I won't be able to balance both these professions well. Plus, music direction offers from big production houses have started pouring in big time post Partner now so I would presently be interested in concentrating only on my music. But, then you never know what is in store for tomorrow!" the soft spoken music director says.

Salman has known the musical duo for a decade now, since the time they did a song (Teri Jawani Badi Mast Mast Hai) for his home production, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya. They later went on to give music (sometimes just a single song) for Sallu starrers like - Tere Naam, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Hello Brother, Garv, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, Partner and the recently released, God Tussi Great Ho.
