Katrina Kaif, the gorgeous firang bollywood babe who plays the part of Indu Pratap Singh in upcoming ‘Raajneeti’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor, seems to have become adept at avoiding beau Salman Khan at functions or parties.

At least that impression comes from her early departure from a wedding; where Salman Khan was due to arrive shortly. In fact, Katrina Kaif simply preponed her schedule by a day and attended the mehndi of Bina Kak’s daughter in Jaipur and left for Delhi with the excuse that she had to attend an important promotional event for upcoming flick ‘Raajneeti’.

Now, the reports say that Salman Khan will be attending the reception of the same marriage today, when there will not be his beau Katrina Kaif at the party. Bina Kak, the politician-cum-actor who had worked with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in flick ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya,’ wanted both of them to come together and entertain the guests by their superb dancing and star presence.

But, Katrina Kaif was not thinking on the same wavelength and preferred to attend the wedding alone, even if it meant coming a day before. Now the guests, who were expecting to witness this hottest pair of bollywood live performing for them, are scratching their heads and even Bina Kak can do little about it.



In the meantime, Katrina Kaif has been going whole hog to promote her upcoming flick ‘Raajneeti’, which is scheduled for a worldwide release on June 4. The film projects Katrina Kaif in a completely new avatar wherein she will be seen in a serious and deglamorised role for the first time.

The film has already received clearance from the appellate tribunal with a U/A certificate and now faces no hurdle in the way of release. Even Kamal Khan’s problem, the controversial film maker’s case, has been dismissed by the court and was ordered to pay the lawyer’s cost to director Prakash Jha.However, the presence of sex sequence between Arjun Rampal and a theatre actress, playing the character of a ticket aspirant of the party, could still create trouble for the beleaguered filmmaker.

In fact, Arjun Rampal is in the character of a big politician of a political party and that lady seduces him to get the party ticket. The bigwigs in politics may object to this portion, though, Prakash Jha has already toned down the sequence to a certain extent.Ajay Devgan’s character in the film ‘Raajneeti’ has also created a lot of buzz.
