Karan Johar might have been in New York for his birthday on May 25 but if he thought his friends from Bollywood here in Mumbai, were going to spare him.

KJo had another thing coming! Sanjay Kapoor and wife Maheep held a small get-together at their residence on Saturday night and Karan, of course, was the guest of honour at the do.

His best buddy Shah Rukh Khan was there, naturally, and along with him came wife Gauri, looking lovely in a one-shoulder white top and jeans.

Riteish Deshmukh, his long hair pulled back with a hairband, was seen chatting with Sanjay. We wonder if that was a new style he was sporting or was it just the Mumbai ki garmi that got to him!

Sporting a casual style but looking extremely cool was Saif Ali Khan who attended the do with lady love Kareena Kapoor. The couple was among the last to enter the party. Karan’s close friends Kaajal Anand and Shabina Khan too attended the do. And even though it was got quite late in the night, Manish Malhotra seemed pepped enough to party till the wee hours of morning, which they did! Most of the guests left at around 4.30 in the morning, with Riteish taking the leads.
