ShahRukh Khan In History Of Bollywood: Top Tax Payer: Breaking News! Replacing Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan became the number one tax payer in the industry for the second quarter of financial year 2011 by paying Rs 5 crore to the Income Tax (IT) department against the Rs 3.5 crore paid in the same quarter last year.

It is reported that Akshay Kumar is at second position paying RS 4.5 crore followed by Aamir Khan who paid Rs 4 crore to the IT department.  

Ptaudi son Saif Ali Khan and Kapoor heir Ranbir Kapoor share the fourth position paying Rs. 2.5 crore each. 'Dabanng' star Salman Khan, paid only Rs 2 crore compared to the Rs 2.5 crore in the same quarter last year.

However, among Bollywood actresses, Katrina Kaif with an image of Barbie doll paid Rs 1.3 crore followed by Kareena Kapoor, who paid Rs. 1 crore.

After the giving a flop movie to the industry with 'Kites', Hritik Roshan paid a meager Rs 50 lakh as against the Rs 3 crore paid in second quarter of FY10. While, Arbaaz Khan paid Rs 10 lakh as against Rs 50 lakh last year, director Sanjay Leela Bansali gave Rs 50 lakh against Rs 25 lakh paid last year. Simlraly, Vishal Bharadwaj gave Rs 25 lakh against Rs 15 lakh to the IT department.
