Salman Khan missing from the special screening of Ranbir's picture: While the whole nation was holding their breath for the Babri verdict, the cast and crew of ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ felt an extra knot in their stomach. The release date of the film had already been postponed once, and if there was any unpleasant situation, it would either need to be postponed again or suffer heavy losses with the theaters running empty.

Sajid Nadiawala was understandably tensed. Though the previous postponement of the release date was initially Ranbir’s idea, the end decision was obviously Sajid’s. If something were to go wrong this time would mean a whole lot of trouble with the distributors.

The ‘Anjaana’ and ‘Anjaani’ of the film that is Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra too were very anxious and had made a secret pact that if all went well they would host a special screening of the film for friends and family. Obviously in this special screening, Ranbir’s mentor and Sajid’s close friend Salman was also called. However, while Salman’s entire family showed up for the special screening, Salman himself stayed away. Even though he stated that he could not attend because he had a commitment somewhere else it is highly likely he had other reasons not to show up.

The rumor mill has been churning out the possible link up between Katrina and Ranbir and this has obviously not gone down well with Salman. Even though Salman’s and Katrina’s relationship status still remains uncertain, Salman, it seems is not taking the Ranbir-Katrina link-up too lightly.

A source revealed that since he is close to the producer Sajid Nadiawala, he wishes him well but still he did not turn up for the screening. Though he was happy that the film managed to release successfully despite so many obstructions, in this case, his anger towards Ranbir exceeded the bond of friendship.
